Refund policy

This Refund Policy applies subject to any mandatory rights and remedies available under applicable law. Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict or replace rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.

Returns of non-defective products

Unless applicable law gives you a statutory right of withdrawal or cancellation, RSE Audio does not provide an automatic change-of-mind return right for correctly supplied, non-defective products.

In other cases, we may consider a return request at our discretion. Please contact us at roman.shevchenko@rseaudio.net before arranging any return.

If a non-statutory return is accepted, we will provide the applicable return conditions, return address and shipping instructions. The customer will normally be responsible for return shipping costs unless RSE Audio expressly agrees otherwise.

Please do not send equipment back before receiving return instructions from us.

Statutory right of withdrawal

Where applicable consumer law provides a statutory right of withdrawal or cancellation, RSE Audio will honour that right in accordance with the applicable legal requirements.

For qualifying distance sales to consumers in the European Union, this generally includes the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days after receiving the goods, without giving a reason, subject to the exceptions provided by applicable law.

To exercise a statutory right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision within the applicable withdrawal period by a clear statement. You can contact us at roman.shevchenko@rseaudio.net.

Where applicable, goods must then be returned within the period required by law after you notify us of your withdrawal.

When exercising a statutory right of withdrawal, the customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods where permitted by applicable law, unless RSE Audio has expressly agreed to bear those costs.

You may inspect and handle the equipment to the extent reasonably necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning. Where permitted by applicable law, you may be responsible for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is reasonably necessary for that purpose.

We strongly recommend retaining and using the original packaging for any return. Professional audio equipment requires appropriate protection during transport. If the original packaging is unavailable, the equipment must be packed adequately to prevent transport damage.

Custom-made and customer-specified products

RSE Audio frequently manufactures equipment to customer-specific requirements.

Where a product is genuinely manufactured to specifications individually requested by the customer or is otherwise clearly personalised, a statutory change-of-mind right of withdrawal may not apply where applicable law provides an exception for such goods.

Customer-specific products may include equipment incorporating substantial non-standard technical or cosmetic modifications specifically agreed for an individual order.

A product is not considered customer-specific solely because a standard RSE Audio product is assembled after the order is placed.

Where an order is treated as a customer-specified or personalised product for these purposes, the relevant custom specification and applicable cancellation or return conditions will be communicated as part of the ordering process.

Any restriction relating to custom-made or personalised products applies only to change-of-mind cancellation or withdrawal to the extent permitted by applicable law. It does not exclude rights relating to products that are defective, damaged, incorrectly supplied or do not conform to the agreed specification.

Damaged, defective or incorrect products

Please inspect your order after delivery and contact us as soon as reasonably possible if the equipment arrives damaged, appears defective or you receive a product different from the one ordered.

Contact us at roman.shevchenko@rseaudio.net and include your order information, product model, serial number where available, and a description of the problem.

For transport damage, please retain the shipping packaging and, where practical, provide photographs of the shipping carton, internal packaging and equipment. This can help us evaluate the issue and make any necessary carrier claim.

Where applicable law requires RSE Audio to bear the costs of returning defective, damaged, incorrect or non-conforming goods, those costs will be handled accordingly.

Please contact us before attempting internal repairs, modifications or returning the equipment so that we can provide the appropriate service or return procedure.

Sale and discounted items

Purchasing an item at a discounted or sale price does not affect any mandatory statutory rights that apply to the purchase.

Where no statutory change-of-mind return right applies, returns of correctly supplied, non-defective sale or discounted products may be accepted or declined at RSE Audio's discretion.

Exchanges

If you would like to exchange a product, please contact us before returning it.

Depending on the circumstances, the most practical procedure may be to complete an authorised return and place a separate order for the replacement product.

Refunds following a statutory withdrawal

Where a statutory right of withdrawal applies, refunds will be processed within the timeframe required by applicable law.

For qualifying European Union consumer withdrawals, this generally means reimbursement without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we are informed of the decision to withdraw. Where permitted by law, we may withhold reimbursement until we have received the returned goods or you provide evidence that the goods have been sent back, whichever occurs first.

Where required by applicable law, the refund will include the original standard delivery charge. Additional delivery costs resulting from choosing a more expensive shipping option than the least expensive standard delivery method offered by us are not refundable unless required by applicable law.

Refunds will normally be issued using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless another method is expressly agreed.

Refunds for other authorised returns

For a return accepted by RSE Audio outside a mandatory statutory right of withdrawal, we will inspect the returned equipment and notify you whether the refund has been approved.

If approved, the refund will normally be processed within 10 business days using the original payment method or another method agreed with you.

Processing times after we issue the refund may depend on your bank, payment provider or card issuer.

If more than 15 business days have passed after we confirmed that an approved refund was issued, please contact us at roman.shevchenko@rseaudio.net.
