RSE MP-41 – A 4-channel boutique class A tube mic preamp. It’s designed following best old-school practices combined with modern developments in technology. Our original transformers provide a balanced input and output. The schematic uses a high voltage feed from the external PSU and a stabilized heater voltage, so interference is minimized. Each channel provides up to 60dB of clean tube gain with PAD, polarity, HPF and phantom power switchers. The 10 segment LED output signal indicator helps you to control the gain with 3dB precision.

Phase control is an extremely useful function, especially when recording drums, avoiding a hollow bass sound. As each channel has both DI and XLR input, the user is able to connect a wide variety of signal sources. The high headroom helps to protect the recording from unexpected signal surges causing distortion. The 20dB Pad can even allow line level signal sources to be put through the preamps to impart harmonics and tube color during mixing. The device's built-in 48v phantom power allows condensers to be used easily.
